Find a Meeting Time Across Multiple Time Zones

Scheduling a meeting becomes more difficult when participants live in different countries. A convenient morning meeting for one person could be late at night for somebody else.

Fahahu’s Meeting Time Planner compares multiple locations on the same 24-hour timeline. Add the cities or time zones involved, choose the meeting date and compare their local working hours.

How the Working-Hours Overlap Works

Each participant has a start and end time for their local workday. The planner converts those working hours to the same timeline and identifies hours that fall inside the workday for every selected location.

If there is no complete overlap, the visual grid can still help you identify the least inconvenient alternatives by comparing the local times side by side.

Why the Meeting Date Matters

Time differences can change during the year because some regions observe daylight saving time while others do not. Countries may also move their clocks on different dates.

Selecting the actual meeting date therefore gives a more useful comparison than assuming that the time difference between two locations remains fixed all year.

Useful for Remote Teams and International Clients

The planner can be used for remote-team meetings, international client calls, interviews, webinars, online events, project meetings and other situations where participants are spread across multiple time zones.

Meeting Time Planner FAQs

How do I find the best meeting time across time zones?

Add the locations of the participants and set their normal working hours. The planner compares those hours on a shared timeline and identifies periods when everyone is within their selected workday.

Can I add more than two locations?

Yes. This planner supports up to six locations, making it useful for distributed teams and international meetings involving several countries.

Does the meeting planner account for daylight saving time?

The planner uses IANA time-zone information supported by the visitor’s browser. Applicable time-zone and daylight-saving rules are therefore reflected for the selected meeting date.

Can different participants have different working hours?

Yes. When adding a location, you can choose that participant’s local workday start and end time independently.

Why is there no overlapping meeting time?

Participants separated by large time differences may have no hour that falls inside everyone’s normal working day. In that situation, use the 24-hour grid to compare alternatives and identify a workable compromise.
